Annotated Bibliography

The RAC Homepage
This page has a lot of information about the different features that the RAC has to offer to not only students but also to faculty and other members of the community. The Page also has a FAQ’s (frequently asked Questions) page that has some useful information on it as well.

Mike D'Archangelo
Director of PE & Recreation Programs
Mike has been working at the RAC for 7 years now and has been played a huge role in making the RAC into what it is today. He is very knowledgeable about all of the activities that are held and go on in the RAC. He is a great source for information not only on the history of the RAC but about future plan for the RAC as well.

UMBC Albin O. Kuhn Library Staff
I plan to go to the library and talk to someone on staff about where I might be able to find the building plans for the RAC and any other information that they might be able to offer me. Hopefully they will be able to point me in the right direction.

UMBC Students
I think that talking to some students will help me to get a general idea of the reasons why they come to the RAC and for many of them hang out there for hours. I am interested to see if they come due to meeting other people that share the same interests they do and if they like the general atmosphere of the RAC as well. It is always interesting to get other peoples thoughts and views on a place that you yourself visit all the time.

UMBC Men's Basketball Media Guide
The Media guide includes some of the RAC’s history along with a lot of other interesting facts. One of the most interesting parts of this Media Guide explains how the RAC as well as the athletic programs at UMBC have grown over the years. I believe this to help me in showing how the RAC is a place that is making more history year by year and has an exciting future ahead.
